Las Moulinières

Dogs Welcome

At Las Moulinières dogs are more than welcome! Kennel costs are expensive so why leave your beloved dogs at home? Bring them with you! All we ask is that you let us know when you book your holiday.

Each pet will need a passport, which is easily obtainable from your local vet prior to travel. See the DEFRA website for advice - www.gov.uk/take-pet-abroad/overview.

Las Moulinières

Las Moulinières is situated only 3kms from the beautiful French village of Pujols, in the heart of the Lot et Garonne Department. The village, once fortified, is perched high on a hill and is one of the many bastide villages of the area, such as Monflanquin, Tournon d’Agenais, Penne d’Agenais and Villeneuve Sur Lot.

Pujols, once the stronghold of heretics (Cathars), was destroyed during the war between the Albigensians (Cathar inhabitants from the area around the city of Albi) and the Crusaders, then subsequently rebuilt in the 15th Century. Still partly surrounded by the original enclosing walls it is well worth visiting for the historic buildings, breathtaking views and now has several very nice restaurants.
